Speak on it! - Horror movies not in October

Nightmare on Elm Street sucks. Not because its another remake. I think it sucks because it doesn't have the balls to come out in October when movies like this should be released. Why the fuck is every studio so scared of releasing near Saw? Saw VII is going to be filmed in 3D. Also this year, we'll see a return of Cary "I sawed my leg off at the end of the 1st movie" Elwes. Whoopty-fuckin-doo. Hey Hollywood, Saw has been out for close to 8 years now and each year it has seen a slight drop off in ticket sales. I'm aware that 3D is a dick that you've all jumped on and are riding to orgasm in the form of profits, but look here, its a gimmick that you use to "ensure a profitable film." With that logic, you're probably thinking, Saw in 3D will be unbeatable.



Let me let you in on a little secret. People like horror movies. People especially love to see horror movies around Halloween weekend. If you release a horror movie in October, people will watch. Since your cowardice forces you to release horror movies in months like April (Elm Street) and August (Halloween II) and since Saw is the only one that ever comes out on Halloween weekend, everyone watches it and it gives Saw the appearance of being a dominant film. However, if you man up and go head to head with Saw for once, maybe you can beat it. What, you're worried about losing money? You people are the same ones who casually toss money at shit like, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua," "Furry Vengeance" and that abortion known as "Dragonball Evolution." Now all of a sudden you're worried about losing money? Fuck that.

Now is not the season for big budget horror/thriller flicks. I expect something like "Dead Silence 2" or "Slither 2" to be released in these lame months but seriously, all you're doing is showing me and everyone else, that you admit to putting out an inferior product and you're just trying to make money while you can.

Your cowardice disgusts me Hollywood. Maybe one day you'll grow some balls.
