D.E.B.S. (2004)

Recruited by the U.S. government for their unique ability to lie, cheat and fight, Amy, Max, Janet and Dominique join an underground academy of secret agents known only as D.E.B.S. These crime fighting hotties set out to save the world and keep their lipstick perfectly applied while doing so. When D.E.B.S. star player, Amy, falls for Lucy Diamond, the deadliest criminal the world has ever known, chaos erupts and the D.E.B.S. loyalty is put to the test.

Sarah Foster and Jordana Brewster star as lovers on the opposite ends of the law in this flick that's about teen crime-fighters which quickly becomes a thinly disguised lesbian love story. Didn't know what to expect, got an action comedy that's heavy on the sexy. Lesbians are hot, lesbians in short skirts and guns are hotter. And they put together a hell of a cast list. Look for Meagan Good, and Devon Aoki as well.

Hellbent (2005)

Five gay men are chased by a crazed killer through an obstacle course of partygoers, dirty dancers, and sexy shenanigans on Halloween night.

On the eve of the Halloween Carnival, two young men are brutally cockblocked murdered inside of their car. [One dude loses his head while getting head.]

The next night a group of men, while heading to the carnival, decide to stop outside the murder scene and walk through the park to get there. In the park, they run into a guy with devil horns and a goatee. He clearly has murderous intent, but they somehow interpret that to be sexy gay intent. They taunt him until he walks away [Because gay folk love to spread their love] but they are unaware that he followed them to the party. Using it as cover, one by one devil dude starts to take them down.

The last act is typical slasher fare as devil dude [who also loves to cockblock apparently] gets the final guy alone in the house who has to survive long enough to fight back.

Stray Quotage:

"Two men were murdered in their car last night.
       We're they boning each other?
Yes, Chad they were boning each other
Haha!  They died doing it! Yes!

Hey, did you know that gay dudes can't hide their immediate interest in other dudes, especially those of the buff, shirtless bad boy mentality?

You know, I don't think I've ever seen or have ever been aware of a gay horror movie but unsurprisingly, It was about as bad as a straight horror film. [Hooray for equality!] Hellbent isn't that much different than any other slasher flick. It just involves more of the homosexual culture. [or what is perceived to be is the culture.] Anyway, the door was left open for a sequel, but I doubt that happens.

Drool (2009)

After starting a romance with her female neighbor, housewife Anora accidentally shoots her abusive husband and takes a road trip with her new lover.

Anora, a southern housewife in an abusive relationship begins to fall for her neighbor, a sexy upbeat cosmetics saleswoman named Imogene. As they grow closer, her husband Cheb, reminds us that this is the South by smashing a beer and forbidding her from having "any niggers in his fucking house!" A few days later he, stumbles home drunk and finds them making out. He immediately goes for his gun and in the fracas, she shoots him dead.

Imogene helps her pack up the body and they gather up the kids and go on a trip to take care of the body. Along the way, they all grow closer and by the end, they have a good old fashioned southern seafood dinner and decide to stay longer, realizing that they wouldn't have left the town or known anything else if it wasn't for his death.

A few things:

1 - The plot summary says "Accidentally." GTFOH, she emptied the clip into him. That was no accident. Oh wait, maybe she had a seizure while holding the gun. Yeah, that's what happened...

2 - I'm not a fan of how the southern negro female is portrayed as so aloof and super bubbly.

3 - Drool opens with a proposal. A guy tells a girl that he had a dream about her blowing him on the grass beneath a tree in a field. He begs her to make his dream come true. Naturally, she says yes, because she's a teen and what proper woman could refuse?

4 - When they arrive at their destination, they find a mini cemetery. Suggesting that this may not be the first body Imogene has helped to bury.

5 - Jill Marie Jones is sexy. Jill Marie Jones in all of that makeup is not:

Drool is basically a story of addition by subtraction. Someone overbearing had to die, for everyone else to live. It was pretty good for what it was. Again, I really was not feeling the magical happy bubbly southern negress thing they had going, but it didn't really affect the film too much.

Ticked off Trannies With Knives - 2010

A group of trannies are violently bashed and left for dead. The surviving ladies regain consciousness, confidence, and courage ready to seek out revenge on the ones who attacked them.

Ticked off trannies with knives is exactly that. They are transsexual, pissed, and they have knives.

A group of trannies are violently bashed and left for dead. The surviving ladies regain consciousness, confidence, and courage ready to seek out revenge on the ones who attacked them.

Shot exploitation style, the film at its essence serves as an LGBTQ empowerment film. In this case, transsexuals specifically and it calls back to the days of the Grindhouse film era. One thing people continue to forget about transsexuals, is that no matter how feminine they appear, they are still dudes, and they will knock you on your ass if they have to.

This is not my preferred genre, but I'm pretty opened minded with odd films and above all else, it wasn't terrible. There's a cast and crew dance party at the end of the film. Good stuff. I enjoy movies a bit more when it looks like everyone involved genuinely had fun making it.
