Versitile Actors

It is a given that acting is harder than it looks. However, there are a few who make it look genuinely easy. These are the Versatile Actors. They can blend into any role, raise the quality of the work, act circles around the cast and steal the scenes they are in. Basically, these guys are the cream of the acting crop and worth every penny.

**In No Particular Order**

Johnny Depp
Outside of and since The Ninth Gate, I can't name a movie that he's sucked in. Depp blends in and if he isn't the star, he often steals the film. (ie Once Upon a Time in Mexico.)
 Kevin Spacey
One of the most legit male actors out there. I haven't seen him blend into any roles specifically, however, each role he has played is in itself an award worthy performance.
Angelina Jolie
She seems to be the only female actress who can hold her own with these guys. I would normally call her "The Female Johnny Depp," but she deserves to be in a class of her own. Her acting talent and ability to blend into roles is uncanny. Combined with her sex appeal, she becomes a dynamo of the silver screen.
Ben Kingsley
Along with Depp, one of the masters of blending in. Rumor has it, he even knows about 7 languages. He's been going for a while, but is just now gaining widespread acceptance.
Robert Downey Jr.
Showed us flashes of his talent in Chaplin. Then showed us the darker side of super-stardom with the drugs and alcohol issues he's had. Since then, he's cleaned up and has been nearly unstoppable lately.
Hugo Weaving
After playing Agent Smith, most people wrote him off as a one character guy. Then came V for Vendetta and he proved that he can hold his own and is more than a one-note guy.
Jack Nicholson
There's a saying in Hollywood: "No one plays crazy like Jack plays crazy," and beside those roles, he's actually played Satan and he's proven he can do sensitive roles as well.
Daniel Day-Lewis
He picks and chooses his roles specifically. When you see his name attached to a project, you know you're going to get something special. And he's been consistent, from Gangs of New York, to There will Be Blood.
