Scientific experiments backfire and produce horrific mutations: halfman, halffish which terrorize a small fishing village by killing the men and raping the women.
Heard about this movie from a friend of mine. Apparently it freaked her out as a little kid and that definitely sounded like something i needed to see.

The story:
Scientists have been working to create bigger stronger and faster salmon. 3000 experimental salmon were released. It is believed that the humanoids were fish that fed on the salmon and evolved to the point in which they've become humanoid. They now see human males as a threat and need to copulate with the females to increase the survival of their species.
40 minutes into the film, the residents finally get their first hint of something being amiss, when a man returns to shore claiming sea- monsters exist. On board an investigative vessel,There's a scientist who clearly knows a lot more than she lets on. When they find that one of the girls has survived their attack they manage to grab one of the humanoids and bring it to her lab. There, she reveals and confirms her evolution theory and heads out to warn the town of their arrival. Needless to say, the team arrives too late and after that incredibly long buildup, the monsters show up and fuck shit up. All the covert killing and raping has led to this moment and it is glorious.
After an all night battle, the humanoids are defeated yet the door was left wide open for the inevitable sequel.
Humanoids From The Deep isn't the Same old exploitation schlok we're familiar with, but at the same time, it is. Besides all the raping and killing, this movie actually takes itself pretty seriously and despite the long parts where nothing happens, the massacre makes the film worth it.
