Hired by a family to investigate supernatural activity in their apartment, a paranormal research group find themselves haunted by a malevolent force. Their investigation is derailed as the strange manifestations become gradually more violent.
John, a single father raising two kids, has had it rough ever since their mom passed. His relationship with with his daughter was always rocky and she blames him for the death of her mom. When the noises first occurred, he moved them into the city. Now that they have started up again, he calls in a team of scientist ate called in to examine what appears to be a haunting. They discover is a bit more than he bargained for.
Apartment 143 is a decent film. It doesn't try to do too much and actually works within the genre to play on expectations and produce something a bit different than the norm.
