John Woo
John Woo Yu-Sen (born 1 May 1946) is a Hong Kong film director, writer, and producer. Recognized for his stylised films of highly choreographed action sequences, Mexican standoffs, and use of slow-motion. Woo has directed several notable Hong Kong and Hollywood films.
Sharp choreography, smooth gun play, doves, and stand-offs are usually signs you're enjoying a John Woo original.
