Three ex-girlfriends of a serial cheater set up their former lover to fall for the new girl in town so they can watch him get his heart broken.
This movie, despite it's title. Despite it's content. Despite being a "romantic comedy." Despite co-starring Ashanti, is actually pretty funny.
Jesse Metcalf, former heartthrob, current douche, plays John Tucker, a "king of the jocks" popular guy who as all popular guys do, ends up dating a few women at the same time.
Yes. John Tucker gets down with jungle fever.
So after the girls find out he's dating them at the same time, they set out to destroy him. Only problem, he's john tucker, THE most awesome dude at school.
As the ladies set their plans in motion The funniest moments of this flick begin to take shape. Apparently this Dude is made of Teflon because nothing sticks. They eventually get him to fall for a new girl who's goal is to break his heart. Surprisingly, this works.

But because he is John Tucker, I'd say he bounces back pretty quickly:

Overall, it's another high school movie, meaning it will have both highs and lows, but minus Ashanti, it isn't all that bad.
Violence? No
Explosions? No
Nudity? No.
Blu-Ray/DVD? Dvd. Aside from the laughs, there's nothing special about this flick.
I am THOROUGHLY opposed to anything starring, co-starring, special guest, or featuring Ashanti! The only way you'd get me to watch a movie that had her in it...was if Batman (Christian Bale's DMX talking Batman to be exact) and Optimus Prime were both in it as well.

ReplyDeleteShe fucking sucks, and although she does have speaking lines, she's essentially eye candy.
I can't be mad at those abs though.
