Truth or Die is essentially British torture porn. It has elements of Saw but it isn't as brutal or as unforgiving as Hostel. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Not to mention, there is a super predictable twist that is surprisingly still jarring when revealed. All in all, it's not a bad film.
