Plot via IMDB:
A husband and wife who recently lost their baby adopt a 9-year-old girl who is not nearly as innocent as she claims to be.
Initially, I thought the movie would be like The Good Son, but it quickly took a turn for the better. The pacing is a little slow, but the movie picks up as Ester's plans begin to take shape. By the time her past is revealed, what was a dramatic family film becomes something darker and sinister. When you reach the end, you'll shit yourself for not seeing it sooner.
Orphan is an awesome film. Its dark, its original and you never see the twist coming. If you're in the mood for a good thriller, this is your flick. Make it happen.
Violence? Yes
Explosions? No
Nudity? No, but there is an (implied) sex scene.
