Plot:
Detective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.

Sherlock Holmes was a surprisingly good movie. Robert Downey Jr. wrecks shop as Holmes. Rachel McNichols handles her sexpot thief role excellently and Jude Law was a decent Watson. (In reality, Watson could have been played by a racoon in a cardboard box and it still wouldn't have impacted the movie.) I still don't agree with the decision to make it an action flick. In doing so, many scenes were included that were
unnecessary, but had to be added to fill the action movie quota.
If you're like me, you've seen it by now. Otherwise, give it a shot. It feels a bit long, but the comedy and action pick up the slack.
Violence? Yes
Explosions? Yes
Nudity? I say nay! Good sir.
