More fun for fans
What's that you say? A drawn together direct to DVD movie? Yes.
For real-real? Not for play-play? Yep. Its real.
For those not in the know, Drawn Together the TV series ran for 3 seasons before cancellation. It was a animated spoof of reality tv (big brother in particular) and the characters were animated versions of the people you'd normally see. (ie. The frat bro, the virgin, the gay guy, etc.) The show was also known for its black comedy and gross out humor. With that being said, clearly an uncensored and unrated movie was the next logical step towards closure.
The movie has the cast of the show finding out they've been cancelled and looking for a way to get their show back on their air. Through their journey, they learn that they were cancelled for being crass and offensive and apparently you can only be crass and offensive, if you have a preachy message behind all of your jokes. Which was clearly a dig at South Park, as the scene's animation hammered that point home.
There are some legitimate laughs, especially one scene involving a gospel choir and nearly everything with Ling-Ling is gold. The movie itself is a bit long, but it works towards a definite ending. It was clear that everyone involved wanted to get all they possibly could into the movie, and it seems they did.
Drawn Together The Movie: The Movie brings the series to a proper conclusion. Be warned however, if you have not watched this series when it originally aired, or if you are one of those "I'm offended by everything" types, you will not like this movie.
Violence? Reckless cartoon violence.
Explosions? Yup.
Nudity? Yep. One scene has titty added, admittedly just for the sake of titty.
Was always a fan! This is classic.

I thought Season 3 was a little off (because they knew they were done) but I was excited when I heard about the movie.
