Researchers in Antarctica are abducted by a team of masked storm troopers. They are dragged deep underground to a hidden continent in the center of the earth. Here Nazi survivors, their bodies a horrifying patchwork of decaying and regenerated flesh, are planning for the revival of the Third Reich.
At a research station in Antarctica, two scientists strike metal when conducting an experiment. When they clear the snow, they see a Nazi symbol and at that point are grabbed by men in masks and swastikas. When it's reported that they haven't yet checked in, the team at the lab sets out to find them and follows their tracks to a large underground cavern 50ft below surface. Pushing deeper, they find what appears to be a Utopia. Inside they find man made structures and are greeted by Nazis.(Yes, Nazis)
Somehow, Dr. Joseph Mengele has managed to evade death and used the facility to advance his own agenda without ethics and morals getting in the way. His goal is to bring about the Fourth Reich and they have now become the only thing between world freedom and total Nazi domination.
The key to their reign? Mecha.Motherfuckin'. Hitler!
The main selling points of this film are Jake Busey and Dominique Swain.
Asylum is known for their knockoffs and I think it's safe to say that Nazis at the Center of the Earth is a knock off of Iron Sky, aka Nazis on the Moon. Without a doubt, NatCotE is a gloriously bad film. But It really couldn't be anything else. Plus ya gotta love a bad movie that the actors take seriously.
