I easily dismissed this film based on the title alone. I mean, wow. "The title is as long as the movie. Fuck your long ass title!" amirite?! No. No, I was not. James franco, (see? Everywhere!) held it down, and Freida Pinto is always hot, however, the apes were the stars of this flick. Especially the Gorilla.
Rise of the Planet Of The Apes left the door wide open for a sequel and in 2013 I'm hoping for a better fucking title at the least. It was a solid flick and much better than I expected. A bit longer than I liked, but the apes wrecked shop when the time came. That helped increase it's score.
Violence? Yes
Explosions? Yes
Nudity? Nope. Even the apes wore clothes.
